Our Story

A third-generation Florida native, Deejay grew up just north of Tampa, where summer days meant boating, fishing, and sun-drenched trips to the Florida Keys. Those memories eventually became the inspiration behind Key West Candle & Bath Co.

After relocating to Key West with her husband, Captain Tyler, a beloved candle broke during their move. When she could not find anything like its comforting scent on the island, she decided to recreate that feeling herself.

Test batch after test batch, she perfected her craft with premium soy wax, high-quality wicks, and clean, unforgettable fragrances. As the brand grew, so did the collection—each scent, label, and product shaped with care.

Candles were only the beginning. Island-inspired bath products and accessories soon joined the line, bringing the same color, joy, and laid-back Key West feeling into daily routines.

Today, the collection honors the places and memories Deejay holds dear—from Florida landmarks and breezy island days to the relaxed lifestyle that makes the Keys so magical.
